Phase Three:

3. Research and Evaluation:

The OIOC will assist the company in establishing research and evaluation procedures to track the results of the Model Clinic Program. Since 1990, the OIOC has found that the Model Clinic Program has substantial benefits for companies, patients, and insurance companies, and believes that this phase not only justifies the existence of the program but is essential in identifying its strengths and weaknesses.

The development of a clinical management system serves as the cornerstone for the research and evaluation of the Model Clinic Program. The OIOC has extensive experience in creating accessible, reliable and useful systems. The system offered by the OIOC utilizes the most recent developments in relational database management system and fourth generation information management technologies, consisting of menu-driven screens, data-entry screens, and zoom windows.

The system is a package of various applications including patient administration, clinical evaluation, appointment scheduling, accounts management, office automation, and tools for system maintenance and administration. Each application consists of a family of modules. For example, the patient administration package includes patient registration, patient visits and billing, and patient history and notes modules. The clinical evaluation package is designed to collect, maintain, and analyze detailed information about patients' medical, physical and psychological status at various stages of treatment. Along with the application modules, a rich variety of system reports are developed to retrieve information available in the system. It also provides tools for conducting clinical research.
