It is the mission of the Occupational and Industrial Orthopaedic
Center (OIOC) to serve industry and the work force in the prevention and
treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. The OIOC receives
philanthropic support and attracts volunteers, who enhance the highest
quality research, patient care, consulting, and education services
available today. With your support, the OIOC can fulfill its mission and help the millions of workers who are at risk of injuring themselves and becoming disabled as a result of their work. As a division of the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute (HJD), the OIOC is a non-profit organization covered under the hospital's 501(c)3 tax-exempt public charity status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.
